Introduction

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Mark and I want to share with you my little story of how I first became a Conspiracy Theorist and eventually a Born Again Christian.

This little booklet consists of 5 Chapters. They will touch on many subjects; some which you may already know about, others maybe new to you. All of which I suppose I could go into way deeper, but then this little booklet would morph into something so long that it would make the book “War and Peace” seem short by comparison.

All joking aside, who is this little booklet for? It’s for everyone; believers, skeptics, the curious, and those searching for answers to life’s bigger questions. If you’ve ever felt unsettled by the direction society is heading, or if you’ve wondered whether there's more to life than what we see. The very fact that you are reading this means that you will be one of these people!

A Quick Disclaimer

I know that talking openly about faith can be divisive in today’s world. That’s not my intention. I'm not claiming to be better than anyone else. I’m just an ordinary man who’s come to believe in an extraordinary truth. I still mess up. I still sin. But I’ve found hope, and I want to share that hope with you.

This  isn’t a sermon or a hard sell. I simply want to tell my story in hopes that it inspires you to explore deeper truths for yourself; not just any truth, but the truth.

So, if you are ready; let’s begin!

The Rise of Technology and the Decline of Morals

The Modern World: Blessed Yet Broken

We are fortunate to live in the Western world with relative freedom and opportunity. Technology has brought about medical breakthroughs, instant communication, and information access like never before. On the surface, things should be better than ever.

But despite these advancements, we’re facing a growing crisis. Physical and mental health issues are skyrocketing. Anxiety, depression, loneliness, and addiction are widespread. Morally and spiritually, we seem lost.

Turn on the TV. Listen to mainstream music. Watch the latest movies. It doesn’t take long to see a shift in values; a drift away from what’s good, right, and true.

Technology: A Tool for Good or a Weapon for Control?

Technology is neutral. In the hands of those with good intentions, it can uplift humanity. From life-saving medical devices to the very platform that lets me write and share this blog, its potential is incredible.

But what happens when it’s used with corrupt motives?

We’ve seen how technology can be weaponized; used by governments and corporations to control, suppress, and manipulate. We’ll get into that more in future posts (so yes, get those tinfoil hats ready, ha!).

The real question is: how do we determine whether a use of technology is good or evil? The answer lies in morality.

Morality: Who Gets to Decide?

If you’re still reading, thank you. I’m going to say something that might challenge you: I believe morality must come from an unchanging, divine source. Yes, I’m talking about God.

Human laws shift with time, politics, and power. What was once illegal can be made legal, and vice versa. History shows us that human law, detached from divine moral grounding can justify horrific things.

That’s why I believe in a higher standard: God’s law.

The Ten Commandments: Written in Stone

Most people have heard of the Ten Commandments. The first four teach us how to relate to God; the last six teach us how to relate to one another. These commandments aren’t just religious rules, they’re timeless principles for living well.

When we say something is “written in stone,” we mean it’s fixed and unchangeable. That’s exactly how these commandments were delivered, etched by the hand of God Himself.

The Problem with Man’s Law

Man is fallible. We’re emotional. We can be corrupt and when we make ourselves the ultimate moral authority, the line between right and wrong gets blurry.

Take a moment to think about what happens when governments legalize things once considered morally wrong? At what point does society no longer even recognize sin as sin?

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV)

It's a Crazy World

We humans have the ability to reason, reflect, and make choices. But when we remove God from the equation, we lose our compass. Emotions begin to govern truth, and culture begins to redefine morality...
